I'd rather send you somewhere else than do work I shouldn't.
I don't work on diesels.
Diesel injection systems take specialized tools I don't have. Tell me you've got a Powerstroke and I'll point you to Wade's Diesel Repair on Eisenhower. He's good.
I don't rebuild transmissions.
I'll diagnose your transmission and tell you what it needs. If it needs a rebuild, I send it to Bob's Transmission on Mercer. Bob's been doing transmissions for thirty years.
I don't do body work or paint.
If you've been in a wreck, I'll tell you whether your suspension's okay to drive on. Body work I send to Macon Collision on Houston Road.
I don't work on hybrid batteries.
Toyota Prius hybrid traction batteries take a high-voltage certification I don't carry. Hybrid Battery Service of Atlanta will come to Macon for that work.

If a chain shop quoted you a long list of work, bring me the quote. We'll go through it line by line. Half the time you'll save more than $1,000.
